David Greene

My sister Margery Greene graduated in 1964.

Worked in defense industry until 1970, and returned to college to earn Master's degree in Engineering. Worked ten years for Getty Oil Company. Ran independent oil company for sixteen years near Bakersfield, California. Retired 1998 when company was sold.

Moved to Portland, Oregon in 2007 after Cynthia was diagnosed with ALS.

My wife and I spent six years sailing up and down the west coast of Mexico during the winters. Spent some wonderful times anchored in the Sea of Cortez and along the Mexican coast north of Acapulco.

Cynthia has been battling ALS since May of 2006, and is now in a motorized wheelchair and a breathing machine 24 hours per day. But her spirit is remarkable.
