Man, All I can say is Rick was SO WELL LIKED by everyone who knew him. His Funeral will always Ring Bells in my past. Very Touching. When I was seventeen I hadn't lost too many friends and acquaintances. He went way too Early. Then they say the Good Just Die Young. tj sullivan
I remember Rick's terrible passing away. It was so very, very sad and so difficult to comprehend at that age how someone in the dawn of life could be taken suddenly from us.
For Rick I Pray:
"O God our Father, Creator of all the living, we entrust to Your gentle care Rick and all those we love who have gone before us; and have gone to their rest in the hope of rising again. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen."
Rick Medina was one of my best friends at So. Pas. He lived at the Stimson's because of trouble in his home. We spent a lot of time at my house or the Stimson's. I think of him to this day.Like most of us Rick made some mistakes unfortunately his last one cost him his life. I was very angry after his passing, Mr.Penn helped me through that tough time.I have a lot of stories about Rick,Jeff Bruce(his Best Friend from Highland Park), Johnny Stern and the trouble we got in and most of the time out of.Rick loved life and lived it at 100 miles an hour.
