Francis Bruce Latzo, age 69, succumbed to cancer on December 27, 2009.  He lived in Lakeland, Florida.  He is survived by his second wife Nancy, and his four children by a previous marriage. 

His daughter, Kristin Latzo wrote this testimony:  "Although I am not completely unbiased as Francis Bruce was my father, he was undoubtedly, the greatest man and father one could ever have and I am sure there would be many who would agree.  He was kind and interesting and had the best sense of humor.  He remained dedicated to sports and there was never a day when the paper or the television was not turned to a sports event!  He loved to gamble and spent countless hours in Vegas and Monmouth Park where some of his ashes will be spread.  Francis Bruce Latzo always put his children and loved ones first and I am priviledged to have had him as my father.  Our hearts are broken at the loss of our beloved "Daddy".
