George H. Martin III, 68, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick.  Born in Old Bridge, he resided in Milltown before moving to East Brunswick 45 years ago.  Prior to retiring in 1995, he was a plumber for the East Brunswick Board of Education, where he worked for 15 years.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Diane Freda Martin; a son, George H. Martin IV and his wife Maria of Edison; a sister, barbara Kilbourne of PA; and three grandchildren, Danielle, Matthew and Dale.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 24, at 10 a.m. at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick under the direction of the Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday.  Memorial contributions may be made of the charity of your choice.
