SIOUX CITY -- Mark A. Edmisten, 42, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at his residence.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Visitation will follow the service.

Mark was born January 23, 1968, to Arlen and Carol (Schuldt) Edmisten, in West Point, Neb.

Mark was a loving father and grandfather. His family meant everything to him.

Survivors include his father, Arlen of South Sioux City; two daughters, Katelyn and Kaylerae; brothers, Charles (Chris) Edmisten of Coon Rapids, Minn., Jim (Nadine) Edmisten of Coon Rapids, and Thomas (Karen) of Norfolk, Neb.; sisters, Nancy (Dennis) Guillaume of Sioux City, Barbara (John) Atwood of Sioux City, Amy (Scott) Rohrs of Kansas City, Mo., Mary (Jim) Kruta of Collinsville, Ill., Janice Zucha of Collinsville, and Lisa (James) Waddell of Jackson, Mich.; one grandson, JayC JohnCarlos Edmisten of Sioux City; and special friend, Kimberly Valenzuela.

Preceded in death is his mother; brother, Donald; and sister, Lori.
