I had many wonderful memories of Inger, starting back when we first met in 7th grade. Shared crushes, the swim team, confirmation classes at church, band...we spent many hours giggling when we were young. I was incredibly saddened to hear of her death in recent years. Inger was a beautiful spirit and I think of her often.

I am very sad to hear of Inger's death. We were great fiends back when we were 6 years old. Must have been when we were 6 that my older sister cought us kissing while sitting on the step in the back hall at my parrents house (my fisrt kiss). We shared many birthday parties and days of playing together at here house on 6th Ave back in grade school.

Inger died August 2007 of Phase III Astrocytoma, a very rare brain cancer. For more information and pictures please see http://itsalwaystheshyquietones.blogspot.com/search?q=Inger and http://tcphoto.smugmug.com/gallery/3259085#P-1-9

We spent hardly any time together in high school or after -- but strangely, I loved her as a person maybe more than anyone else from our group.

My most vivid memory of Inger is sitting cross-legged on the floor of her house, talking through some major shit pretty much all night, lots of laughing and crying and holding, her wearing all black with her blonde hair shining against it.

Inger was one of two beautiful women friends of mine to die of cancer before getting to experience their thirties, marriage, kids, and so much that they deserved. That makes me furious, and nobody can tell me any different. A small part of me was buried under the earth with each of them. Looking at Kristy's picture is the start of each day for me. If anyone has one of Inger they're willing to spare, please bring it to the ruinion and find me.

Inger and I were best friends when we were in Elementary School. I have special memories of our time together. I have thought of her so many times through my adult life. I was shocked to hear of her passing. My stomach sinks to know she is gone. She will always have a special place in my heart. She truely was a remarkable person.
