We grew up in good times and a small community setting. Values were set and then life moves on. Some of us have created 2 more generations that hopefully will carry on these values.
Mark, this website is gorgeous! Thank you so much for doing this! It's so neat to be able to keep up with everyone and not have to wait until a reunion. It's so neat to be able to teach at SHS. I tell everyone I spent most of my life at SHS. The new school is gorgeous and if anyone is up/down this way, let me know and I can give you a tour! I have a Facebook account and have some pics of the new school posted on there. Our senior composite is right by the gym. I often glance up at it and smile when I see everyone's face.
Mark, Thank you for setting up this website. I have enjoyed seeing all of the pictures and profiles and hope many more will sign on this site. I have not been active in keeping up with everyone and have not made any of the reunions, but maybe someday I will get to come back for one.
Just to let everyone who remembers Coach McCord (how can you not remember Coach McCord) that his twin brother passed away yesterday. I don't know all the details yet. They say he's taking it pretty hard and was at an SHS baseball game in Corinth when he found out. For those of you who love Coach McCord (how can you not love Coach McCord), it would be so nice to send him a card. Coach McCord is so special and I'm sure he would be touched by our response. The address is Southaven High School, 735 Rasco Road West, Southaven, MS 38671. He has done so much for SHS and I don't know what we'd do without him. He has a very bad place on his face and now wears a big patch that covers half of his face. Let's show him our love and support during his time of loss. Thanks everyone!
Mark -- I have really enjoyed going through the website. Thanks for your hard work. I have put together a website so I know the time and commitment it can demand of you. Great job!
wow, thanks Mark, this is a nice place to try to keep up with old friends.as I get older there's lots to think about, things I wish I could do over, and of course ladies I would have just liked to do! lol sry couldn't help it.Hope to see many of you. Lets all try to find the lost ones and tell them about the site.
I just joined Facebook and noticed this site. This is a marvelous way to touch base with folks I haven't seen since graduation. Thanks, Mark, for your commitment to keeping the spirit of '76 alive and well! Give my love to Mary!
I just wanted to say thanks for everyone that came to the reunion at Hernando Point. I had a wonderful time and look forward to another one soon. Thanks Mark and Steve for kicking this off.
Thank you both for all the hard work you have done. I really enjoyed seeing everyone Saturday. I forgot that I really liked the people I graduated with - we definately had a great class and some wonderful memories.
Just found this site and its great . I made the first reunion, but lost touch. I was home in march but had no idea about the get together. I would have waited to come in April. Hello to everyone who remembers and even to those that don't. This is great. Thanks
