Rosemary Pulfer was born in 1956 in Essex, England to Eric and Sheila Pulfer. Throughout her life she devoted herself to the Lord, serving in a variety of capacities. When she was young she helped build a cabin with her sisters at Camp Chenaniah, a Christian camp in Honor, Michigan. For many years Rosie and her family served the Lord, cooking in the kitchen, driving the bus, and being the camp nurse. Rosemary was also a camp counselor at Bear Lake Bible camp in Jones, Michigan. She attended Grand Rapids Baptist College, Grand Rapids Community College, and Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she obtained her LPN license. Passing up an opportunity for a higher paying job, she used her nursing skills to serve residents at the Rest Haven nursing home in Grand Rapids where she felt a part of her patients’ lives, assisting when they were unable to care for themselves.
Rosemary attended Southfield Christian during her high school years where she was remembered for her hearty laugh, and depicted in the yearbook as having the most school spirit. During her college years, while attending a birthday party, she met James Cundiff, beginning a 31-year marriage in 1984. The two would have four children, Amanda, Hillary, Eric, and Sam. In 2004, Rosie was diagnosed with uterine cancer, undergoing both chemo and radiation. Time and again Rosemary battled health issues, the most significant being a stroke that robbed her of her ability to speak. She fought valiantly through them all for those who needed her. In the comfort of her home, and in the presence of her husband James, she breathed her last, ending years of pain and suffering. Pain free, she now dances tirelessly while singing praises loudly in the presence of her Lord and Savior. https://www.companionfunerals.com/obituaries/rosemany-anne-cundiff
