Michael A. Longo, 38, longtime Southington resident passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 16, 2010. He was the loving fiancé of Kathy Forsyth of Southington and father to their beloved 3 year-old son, Michael Jr., and her 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Ashley Forsyth, with whom he made his home and loved like his own daughters.

He was born April 6, 1972 in New Britain to Michael Longo of Southington and Denise Jarvis of Arizona.

Michael worked as a chief engineer for Westfield Shopping Center where he was a dedicated employee and well-respected by everyone he worked with. He also was an avid weight lifter and spent many hours at the Southington Athletic Club.

He is survived by his 2 brothers, Chris and Jason Longo both of Southington, his paternal grandparents, Peter and Dolores Longo of Southington, his uncle Danny Jarvis of MA, his aunt Anna Bednarzyk of Southington. He also leaves behind Kathy’s parents, Sherry and Alex Partyka of Southington, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
