Melissa K. (Moore) Hacker, 41, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her residence. She was born April 27, 1968 in Bloomington, Indiana to Art Moore and Wanda (Gilliland) Moore. She married Kent A. Hacker on June 14, 1986 in Greenwood. 

She was a 1986 graduate of Southport High School and a 1995 graduate of the I.U.P.U. I. School of Nursing in Indianapolis. She was a member of Community Congregational Church in Franklin where she and her husband were active and involved with church and youth activities of the church. 

Survivors include her husband Kent A. Hacker of Franklin, two daughters Miranda K. (Donny) Goeb of the U.S. Air Force, Lauren E. Hacker of Franklin, a son Landon Hacker of Franklin, her father Art Moore of Bloomington, and a brother James (Gail) Moore of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her mother Wanda (Gilliland) Moore.

Burial will be at Hurricane Cemetery in Franklin.
