Michael K. McCray, 34, died Tuesday, Dec. 4 in Memorial Health University Hospital. He was born in Indianapolis, IN and was a 1986 graduate of Southport High School. He was a 1990 graduate of the Florida Christian College in Kissimmee, FL and had served as the Youth Minister at First Christian Church, Lake Butler, FL and Westside Christian Church, Jacksonville, FL. He had served as minister at First Christian Church in Toombsboro and was currently the minister of the Islands Christian Church in Savannah. Survivors: wife, Nancy C. McCray of Savannah; daughter, Jennifer A. McCray of Savannah; parents, Michael and Rita McCray of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Carol A. Ellison of Indianapolis, IN; maternal grandparents, Paul and Betty Lutane of Indianapolis, IN. Visitation: 6:00-9:00 p. m. Thursday, Dec. 6, Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. Funeral Services: 2:00 p. m. Friday, Dec. 7, Islands Christian Church, Reverends Art Peterson and John Porterfield officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 p. m., Friday until the funeral hour. Burial: Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
