Tammy Butler (Roberts)

Tamara Lynn Butler Roberts passed away February 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Tammy was born on February 10, 1962 in Ogden, Utah to Delbert W. Butler and Fidella Chappelle Tew.  She was the oldest of six children with three brothers and two sisters.

Tammy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She was very family oriented and loved everyone.  She had very close relationships with all five of her children.  She enjoyed sewing and was a very crafty person.  Tammy loved throwing family gatherings and was the happiest when her home was filled with people.

Tammy attended Spanish Fork High School and then married Kevin James Roberts and had five children.  They later divorced.  She adopted her oldest grandchild that had Cerebral Palsy, who she had the greatest love for.

Tammy was not only a homemaker but she was also a nail technician.  She attended nursing school and got her degree as a Medical Assistant where she worked at Primary Children’s Hospital.  She was loved and respected by many.

She is survived by Nathon (Sonja) Roberts, Nicole Roberts, Natisha (Eugene) Leon, Nitta (Scott) Coombs, Nevin (Amy) Roberts, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters, Teri (Gary) Birks, Anita (Dale) Uden, two brothers, Brad Butler and Brian Jolley.

She was preceded in death by her father Delbert Wayne Butler, mother Fidella Chappelle Tew and her daughter Natalie Roberts.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.       

We would like to thank the staff at Avalon Care Center in Bountiful, Utah and CNS Hospice for taking care of our mother.
