Mickey Jason Sewell, 36, of McMinnville, formerly of Sparta, passed away June 26, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Sewell was born Nov. 11, 1972. He was the son of Charles A. Sewell and Sharon Higgins Ferguson.
Mr. Sewell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Jessie Lorine Sewell.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Sewell, of McMinnville; two daughters, Alyssa Sewell, of Smithville, Meah Sewell, of McMinnville; father, Charles A. Sewell and wife Laurie, of Baxter; mother, Sharon Ferguson and husband Russell, of Sparta; brother, Cory Sewell and wife Sara, of Cookeville; sister, Jana Hilton and husband Otto, of Nashville; grandparents, Donald and Peggy Higgins, of McMinnville; mother-in-law, Jacqueline Shockley and husband Eddie, of Sparta; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., June 28, 2009, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in St. John’s Cemetery in the Lillydale Community, of Overton County. Tim Miles, John Sims and Charles Sewell officiated.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
