Nakia Juan Irwin, 40, of Algood passed away Dec. 17, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Irwin was born May 22, 1974, in Cookeville, to James Irwin and Jacqueline Roberts Shockley.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Chad Harp, of Algood; children, Akira Irwin, Aikan Harp, Akadian Harp, all of Algood; mother, Jackie Shockley and stepfather Eddie, of Sparta; sister, Dana Sexton and husband Ryan, of McMinnville; brothers, Eddie Shockley, Jim Wester, both of Cookeville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service 1 p.m., Dec. 27, 2014, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with Lewis Carrick officiating. There will be a period of visitation with the family prior to the service, noon-1 p.m.

The family would like to express a special thank you to her co-workers at Kids Care, especially to Dr. Climaco.
