Brian Blazek, 47, of Sparta passed away April 21, 2013 at the Morrow Memorial Home. He was born in Sparta, WI on November 20, 1965 and was the fourth of seven children.

     Brian graduated from Sparta High School in 1984. Along with his brother Richard, he owned and operated Blazek Brothers Sawmill. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and working on his farm in Tomah.

     He is survived by his mother, Rose Blazek of Thomasville, GA, 4 sisters, Laurie Ott of Thomasville, GA, Lonnie Crosson of Cottage Grove, WI, Linda Blazek of Thomasville, GA, and LaVonne Smith of Edgerton, WI, and 2 brothers, Bruce Blazek of Sparta, WI, and Richard Blazek of Sparta, WI, along with their spouses and families, which includes 12 nieces and nephews who were very important to him. He is preceded in death by his father Harold Blazek.

     The family would like to thank the staff at the Morrow Memorial home for their kind care. Also, we extend our thanks to friends and family for their loving support during his illness.

     A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday April 27, 2013 at the American Legion Hall 1116 Angelo Rd. Sparta, WI. Visitation will be held 8:30 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Dallas, WI at 4:30 pm.
