Kent Smith

The obituary states that he graduated in 1965, but our class records have him listed in the Class of ’64. The photo I have for him is from the 1964 yearbook. Regardless of his year of graduation most of us remember him. He was a regular at Hardies in Speedway and I talked to him a few times. He always carried small wooden crosses that he would offer people. Kent had a different personality, and some students would make unkind remarks about him. I got to know him more after graduation than I did in school. As the obituary states, he was a genuine and kind person.      Rich
