LANI LYNN POLLICHRONAKIS 
January 28, 1972 ˜ June 19, 2020 


Lani Lynn Pollichronakis was born in Walla Walla, WA on Jan. 28, 1972. She passed away on June 19, 2020 in Vancouver, WA at only 48 years old. Lani lived in Walla Walla and then Spokane, WA. She took ballet at the Tessa Willliams School of Dance for several years and was able to go to New York City one summer where she took lessons at the Julliard School of Dance. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1990 and moved to Portland, OR where she attended Mt. Hood Community College for a year. 
Lani met her husband to be, Kosta Pollichronakis and they lived in Portland, Pendleton, OR and Seattle, WA before he was transferred to San Diego, CA in 1998. In 2002, they returned to the northwest and she was employed by the Red Lion Inns at Columbia River and at Longview as Food and Beverage Director for a number of years. 
Lani suffered a number of health issues that prevented her from continuing her career. She contracted Diabetes and her health continued to deteriorate until her passing. 
Lani is survived by her three daughters, Ashley Meyer of Portland, OR, Alexis Pollichronakis and Zoe Pollichronakis of Vancouver, WA; her father, Larry Nelson of Lincoln City, OR; sister, Lori Shane of Wallowa, OR; mother-in-law, Linda Polllichronakis of Longview, WA; sister-in-law, Sia Corrao of San Diego, CA; brother-in-law, Niko Pollichronakis of Seattle, WA; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sena Nelson; and her husband, Kosta Pollichronakis.
