I am responding as Andrea's mother, Linda Armstrong, and family on behalf of Andrea (Shelley) Richard.
Andrea's family and I have been in touch with some of her friends at LC, specifically Alix Compton and Gus (last name escapes me - love this aging process!). Valerie Compton, Alix's mother and I have been friends since Alix and Shelly attended elementary school at Hutton, and have remained friends over the years, and in that regard, Valerie has updated me from time to time on your journey through life. If Shelley were here, even she would say, "My, how times have changed!"
We are all so proud of all of you!
Andrea's family and I miss her more than anyone could know. She was our little blonde angel, a comedian, full of love and so much talent! Boy how she could play Moonlight Sonata on the piano and brought tears to our eyes!
Andrea loved her big brother Rob and even though they grew up in different geographical locations, stayed in constant touch via landline! Remember landlines? Technology and anything connected to that concept has confounded me and I know Andrea would have taught me more than I could ever cared about, as she would have embraced that! Her brother Rob has stepped in and rescued his clueless mother many times.
I just wanted to let you know that I'm very aware how you all feel about how fast the last 20 years has flown by! But mostly, know how proud I am of all of you and wish you the very best in your continuing journey through life.
