Linda Smith Burger

I love gourmet cooking as well as discovering new restaurants. I have been part of a small dinner club for the past 14 years. We visit a different restaurant every month, enjoying the food and catching up with each other!

I graduated from Whitworth College in 1973 with a degree in Spanish. Dan and I were married in 1973 and our daughter, Elise, was born in 1979. I returned to Whitworth to finish a degree in music in 1996. Currently, I have a piano studio in my home where I teach between 25 and 30 students of all ages and levels. Dan is employed by Avista (formerly WWP) and Elise is a music teacher in the Bellevue, WA School Dist.

Sue Nees, who introduced me to the Spanish language and inspired me to choose it as my first major at Whitworth College. Though I decided against teaching it, I will never regret those years of study.
