STANTON, Michael A. (Age 46) Born December 2, 1962 in Spokane to George, Sr. and Patricia Stanton; passed away September 21, 2009 in Spokane. Michael attended Trinity Catholic School, graduated in 1981 from Shadle Park High School and attended Spokane Falls Community College. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, reading and the computer. He was a joke teller with a great sense of humor. He worked at the Bread Basket, the Onion Bar and Grill and for 20 years drove buses for STA. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Ted and Catherine Dillinger. He is survived by his sons: Ben and Steven Stanton; daughter, Sarah Stanton; his parents: George and Patricia; brothers: George, Jr. (Denice), Tom (Deanne), John (Brenda) and Mark (Vicki) Stanton and numerous nieces and nephews. A Vigil Service will be held Friday, September 25, at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 26, at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2320 N. Cedar Street. Private interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
