SAWYER, Scott Marion (Age 37) Scott entered the kingdom of Heaven on the morning of Tuesday December 15, 2009 at Holy Family Hospital where he was also born on December 20, 1971 in Spokane, WA. His favorite things in life were fishing, reading, traveling, and his family. He graduated from Shadle Park High School in June 1990. While attending Shadle he was on the wrestling team and the football team. While attending high school he started a career with Target and moved his way up to management. While working at Target he attended Spokane Falls Community College where he was studying Journalism. He attended Eastern Washington University where he earned his Masters degree in Journalism in June 2004. He helped launch a Rathdrum newspaper with the help of his friend. He taught Communications at ITT in the Spokane Valley. He married Karolina Sawyer on April 3, 2008. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Anne Sawyer. He is survived by his father Marion Sawyer, brother Nick Sawyer, his wife Karolina Sawyer, two step children, Lina and Santiago, two nieces Kaylee and Kyra, aunt Gayle, uncle Jim (and his wife Mary Kae), and his two cousins Robert and Mike. Visitation with the family and friends will be held at Spokane Cremation and Burial Services at 2832 N. Ruby St, Spokane, WA, 99207 on Saturday December 19, 2009 from 1PM to 3PM.
