GORDON, Sharon Ann (63) of Priest Lake, ID Died April 9, at her home in Priest Lake.

Sharon was born in Spokane, WA on January 11, 1946 to Beatrice Ruby Koepnick and Carl Doyle Wilson. She graduated from West Valley High School in 1964 and married Harold Glaspey in 1967. They had three children, Michael, Michelle and Jared and moved to Priest Lake in 1978.

Sharon was a hard worker. In her early years in North Idaho she pulled green chain at Art Moore's Lumber, worked at IGA and West One Bank. She owned the Woods Tavern, Lakeside Properties, Good-to-go restaurant and Cabin Crafts. Our favorite nickname for Sharon was "Camp Director".

Among her many accomplishments was her commitment to friends and family. She was president of the Priest Lake Chamber of Commerce, a CASA volunteer and a member of the Kaniksu Lions Club for years. She taught Sunday school at the Priest Lake Community Church and enjoyed going to Bible study.

Sharon's interests were playing card games, mah jong, pai-gow (aka going bowling), quilting, stamping, hunting, fishing and cooking. She was an avid lover of movies, and for the past 10 years, Sharon hosted the annual Priest Lake Academy Awards Party.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and her brother Corky Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, Nels Gordon; her sons, Michael and Jared Glaspey, Nels Jr., Jake and Justin Gordon; her daughters Michelle Morris and Grace Gordon; her grandchildren Wyatt, Dustin, Natasha, Lynden, Autumn and McKayla; and her beloved cousins Kitty and Carl Jones, Dan and Ginni Putnam and Colleen Smith. She will be greatly missed by her family, her loving friends and those who referred to her as their 2nd mother.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday April 17th at 11AM at the Priest River Community Church.
