Chrisann Marie (Trusty) Thomas, age 79, of Spokane WA, passed peacefully from complications of a glioblastoma only recently diagnosed. Chrisann was born April 24, 1946 in to Ann Stene and Aruthur Trusty. She was preceded in death by Her husband, Randall (Randy) Thomas, her parents, and step-father, Arthur Moon, and step-mother, Sally Trusty. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James & Gabriella Trusty; daughter and son-in-law, Kari & Lincoln Davis; daughter, Therese Leinen; daughter and son-in-law, Myshel & Robert Tande; step-daughter, Michelle Thomas, and step-son, Timothy Thomas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chelsie, Skyler, Gage, Riley & Zalen and great-grandchildren, Octavia, Sophia, Bennit, & Aria.Chrisann grew up in Spokane , attending Edison Elementary School and graduating from Lewis & Clark High School in 1964. She graduated from the Intercollegiate Center for Nursing Education (ICNE) as a Licensed Nurse in 1967 and worked at Holy Family Hospital, St. Luke's Hospital, Alderwood Manor, and Visiting Nurses until she retired for medical reasons in 1989, working with her husband, Randy Thomas, as the accountant for their plumbing and contracting business, T&T Enterprises. In 1988, she and Randy purchased property in the Springdale/Ford area and raised longhorn for many years. The family ranch was the place where all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grew up and learned to love the outdoors and a good campfire. Extended family and friends were always welcome. Chrisann was strong, independent, funny, kind and generous and had no qualms sharing her opinion, needed or not. She was an active local neighborhood and civic volunteer. She had many friends, neighbors, and family members that she cared for deeply. She loved to throw parties gathering friends and family together. She loved nature and the outdoors in all forms. She led a full life and spent many years enjoying her hobbies going antiquing/thrift shopping, reading, book clubs, and gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing and watching them grow. Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, Unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. Celebration of Life – April 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairmount Memorial Park, Sunset Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane WA 99205. A graveside interment for both Chrisann & Randy, and reception at the Sunset Chappel, will follow the service. All who knew her are invited.

Chrisann & I met at Edison & became great friends all through school but lost touch after high school. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was always fun to be around. RIP
