ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning 1966 Tiger Family,

This is a reminder that our delayed "LC Tiger 1966" 55 year Reunion Event is fast approaching!

We will be having a one-evening event on September 10 at Chris Kopczynski's office property, 1602 S. Chestnut, same location as our 50-year Friday evening event.  We have asked Longhorn BBQ to cater our dinner and the Scoop Ice Cream truck to come after dinner for dessert as we did at our 50 party. We are not purchasing beer and wine as before.  Everyone is being asked to BYOB in your personal ice chest.  We will have 2 large ice chests full of bags of fresh ice you can use to "concoct" your favorite adult beverage.  We will also provide chilled bottled water.

And, of course, there will be a DJ with music and karaoke!!!!  We expect a lot of dancing and singing to break out!  Greg Bogus, who has been in charge of our website, lctiger66.com, will set up a big screen and computer open to the website during the evening.  We will be encouraging anyone who has not logged on to it to take this opportunity to become part of our website family.  We will have fellow classmates there to assist you.

I'm really excited that a new activity is being added to this year's party.  We have hired a photographer to bring his Photo Booth!!  If you've been to a wedding that had one, you'll know that groups of friends get their pictures taken together (props like hats, boas, funny glasses, etc. are provided), and then everyone in the group is given a strip of those pictures upon leaving the booth.  We always regret not getting pictures of our elementary school classmates, so this will be an opportunity to do that easily.  The photographer is also making a book for us of all the pictures to bring to all future reunions.  If you have some favorite, fun things to adorn us with for the pictures, especially Tiger related, please bring them and we will add these to the photographer's collection for our event.  By the way, for those of you who had Mr. Chuck Ainley for math, our photographer is Dave Ainley, his grandson!  Pretty cool!

There will be an optional golf tournament the day before on September 9 that anyone, guys and gals, can sign up for.  It will be held in the morning, tee times TBD later, at Indian Canyon Golf Course (cost is $49 per person for 18 holes plus $12 for a power cart).  We will not be doing any tours but will provide a list of places and things new to Spokane in the past 10 years that you might want to check out.  All this information is on the Reservation Form except the "Sites to See" which will come in a follow-up email.

The Reservation Form is  DUE AUGUST 15.  Please send a reservation form and your check (made out to LC Class of 66) to Kay Carmichael Weeks, 17820 N. West Shore Road, Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026. Cost is $35 per person  If you can't print out the form, just write the pertinent info on a piece of paper (name, spouse/guest name, address, cell number, email address, golfing info if participating) and mail it and your check to Kay.

Sorry I can't get the Reservation Form as an attachment to this announcement so just send in a piece of paper as mentioned above!

NOTE:  DEADLINE IS AUGUST 15.  MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS NOW AS THIS IS THE SAME WEEKEND AS HOOPFEST THAT TAKES OVER THE DOWNTOWN STREETS!!!!

Hope to see many of you here for our next BIG PARTY!!!   Your Reunion Committee is very excited about what we have planned.

Bruce Thompson, Russell Shover, Harley Reckord, Kay Carmichael Weeks, Mike Barrington, Chris Kopczynski, Tim Bruya and Diane Wynne Alfano

GO TIGERS!!!!

LC Tiger 66 - Recent Photos

We have added a new section for posting photos! Please add photos of you and your LC Tiger 66 classmates so we all can see how well we've aged. Diane Wynn Alfano has already posted pictures of recent class activities including the 50th year reunion organizing meeting and the "LC Boys of 66 Symposiums" (Oct. 2015). I will be posting some recent photos of classmates shortly. By the way - we have reached 100 LC Tiger 66 registrations on the website! Please reach out to classmates who have not joined yet!

Welcome to the Lewis And Clark High Class Of 1966 website.

Welcome LCHS Class of 1966 Classmates!  Thanks for coming by.  If this is your first visit, read below how to get started.  Make your profile on your own web page and personalize it by adding pictures, You Tube videos, and Playlists.  Discover how to do it all right on this page!  Share your page with your classmates.  As time goes on, please remember to keep your profile up-to-date with current contact information, and enjoy using this site as portal to reconnect with old friends between graduating years.

Get Started:  Look to the top of the page and find  "First Time Visitors."  Click on this page and follow the instructions to add your email and password so you can interact with your classmates.  You don't have to finish it all at once.  Come back whenever you want to to update your information or add more photos.

Here are some suggestions for filling out the profile section of your personal page.

  • Where do you live now?
  • Where else have you lived?
  • Do you still have family in Spokane?
  • Do you still see/talk/hang out with any classmates?
  • What was your first 'real' job after high school?
  • Do you have any favorite memories of LC that you would like to share?

I posted a story from High School that may trigger some thoughts under the School Story section.
