MANION, Jr. John Bernard March 31, 1957 April 25, 2021 On Sunday, April 25th John Bernard Manion Jr., loving brother, friend, and father of four children, passed away at the age of 64. John Bernard Manion Jr. was born in Spokane, WA on March 31st 1957 to Julie and John Bernard Manion Sr. The youngest of nine siblings, he passed away of natural causes at his home in Spokane. A lifelong resident of Spokane, John was educated in Spokane schools and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School. John formed many lifelong friendships. He was a natural athlete, a loving and genuinely passionate man, and a friend to everyone he encountered. He lived his life with the intent to help others and believed in inclusion and togetherness. John always vocalized that everyone is welcome and the more the merrier. John married the love of his life, Elizabeth Diane Gregory. They had four children, daughter Autumn Rae, and sons Jonathan Abram, Kalen James Aloysius, and Nolan Gabriel. They raised their family in the Spokane area. His favorite place was Priest Lake, Idaho. He enjoyed boating, karaoke, and hosting social gatherings with humor (The Golfunski), and the warmest of compassion and openness. He was a man of faith and was always devoted to his beliefs about existence and the afterlife. In his later years, John enjoyed raising his beloved German shepherd, Tess. Up until his passing he remained connected to his family and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by parents John Manion Sr. and Julie Manion, and his eldest sister Marilee Manion. Surviving John are his brothers Robert and James (Cindy), sisters Freddie Mae (Marty) Scalzo, Elizabeth Manion, Tina (David) D'Auria, Trina Shepard, and Veena (Mark) Wimberly, his four children Autumn, Abram, Kalen, and Nolan, his former spouse Elizabeth Diane Manion, and his darling Tess.
