Hemal Vakharia was killed on the evening of July 25, 1992 in a vehicle accident. He was born on December 20, 1973 at Memorial Hospital. The only member of his immediate family to be born in the United States of America. He adored his parents Harry & Shoba Vakharia. He idolized his older brother Nishi. He was an amazingly kind person to anyone he met. He naturally exuded the qualities that most people strive their entire lives for.  He was an outstanding student who intended to further his education at the University of Iowa in the Fall of 1992 majoring in medicine. He is loved and missed by all who knew him. He was the life of the party and an uplifting spirit his entire life.
