ARLINGTON, Texas - Michael Jerome Fair departed this life on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. 

Michael was the youngest of nine children born to the late William "Bill" and Audrey L. Fair on February 5, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois. His son, Jerome Michael, one sister, Doris Fair Jones and one brother, Wayne, preceded him in death.

Michael graduated from Springfield High School on June 5, 1980. He worked for Internal Revenue Service following high school. He moved to Arlington, Texas, in 1981, were he worked various jobs including machine and fork lift operator, dry wall and painting.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters, Deloris, Springfield, Illinois; Deanna Green (Bobby), Chicago; brothers, Carl, Kenneth and Calvin (Cynthia), Springfield, Illinois; Wesley, Appleton, Minnesota; foster sister, Phyllis Fitzgerald (Milo), Kennesaw, Georgia; foster brother, Jared Carter, Chicago; stepmother, Freddie Fair, Chicago; aunt, Doris Rush, Springfield, Illinois; brother-in-law, Robert L. Jones, Sr.; sister-in-law, Barbara Fair; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2208 Kansas St.
