From Arthur's brother, Paul:

Loved father, brother and son, Art passed away Tuesday,
November 30, 2010 in San Francisco from complications due to heart disease. Sons
Christopher and Jordan, daughters Karen and Amy and sister Lanita surrounded
him.

He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Kathy, son-in-law William,
father and step-mother Melvin and Audrey, brothers Paul and Jim, grandchildren
Adam, Katherine and Kayla and several beloved nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his mother, Ruth. A native of New England, he moved to
Northern CA in 1969.

An avid photographer, he owned a camera shop in Oroville.
He also worked for Peterson Tractor Company in San Leandro and was on staff at
Evangelical Free Church of Oroville. He loved trains, the music of Johnny Cash,
boating on the lake with friends, marathon Christmas celebrations and working on
his big projects outdoors. A current member of Spring Hills Community Church, he
was known for his daily neighborhood outings and always had a friendly smile or
quick joke.

Most of all, he loved his kids and showed it by spending time with
them as much as possible and doing his very best to provide for them. There will
be a private family service to celebrate his life here and the hope that is now
