Marion Alice Stevens (Kendall)

Marion Alice (Stevens) Kendall passed away at the age of 74 on October 29, 2016, at her home in Gassetts Vermont.

Marion was born on May 6, 1942 to Robert and Alvina Knight Stevens.  Marion grew up in North Springfield and attended school in North Springfield and Springfield, Vt.  She married Ned on March 14, 1958  in Chester,VT. They were happily married for fifty-eight years. Marion is survived by her husband Ned, daughter Lori Tyrrell, her son-in-law Scott Tyrrell from Gassetts, Vt., her estranged daughter Robin Roundy and son-in-law Brian Roundy of Castle Rock, CO, her sister Helen Kennett of Windsor, VT.  Her grandson's Travis and Tyler Tyrell of Gassetts, VT., Joey Bergeron of Perkinsville, VT., her graddaughter Dannielle Bergeron Ingram, and her husband Chris Ingram of Middlebury, Vt.  A great-grandson, Carter Tyrrell of Mount Holly, Vt., a great-grandaughter, Curiosity, of Castle rock Co., and many nieces and Nephews.

Marion was preceded by her father Robert Stevens and her mother Alvina (Knight) Stevens, her brothers Pete Stevens, Robert Stevens and Kenneth Stevens, her Sisters, Lillian Stevens and Ella Wyman.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Adams Funeral Home, Chester, Vt.

Philip Cannistraci

There appears to be a mistake, either in the name or the person, in the obituary listing.  I graduated in 1960 and the only Kendall in my class was Louise E. Kendall.  If anyone has proper information please post it here.  Thanks.

Kaye Hannah (Peck)

Marion Stevens Kendall was in our class at North School from first grade and went to 7th & 8th grade at Park Street School. I think she left school after that as she was married in 1958. We saw each other once in a while after that .I will always remember her ability to yodel!

Kathryn Wilcomb (Pierce-Ryan)

Marion was always a caring person to everyone, I will always remember her sense of humor and smile.
