
Jacksonville, FL - A memorial service for Glen Alan Cahee, 45, who died October 23, 1987 at the Shands Hospital in Gainsville, was held on October 26 at the Town and Country Funeral Home in Jacksonville. The Rev. J. Robert Snyder officiated.
Mr. Cahee was born on September 30, 1942 in Springfield, Vermont, son of Hedrick and Christine Cahee. He attended Springfield schools and graduated from Springfield High School in 1960.
He was in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, seeing duty in Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Mediterranean, Pensacola and Jacksonville. He retired in 1982 with the rank of master chief. He was later employed by Gate Petroleum.
Survivors include his wife, Susan (Tillman) Cahee, whom he married in 1963; his parents of Springfield; two daughters, Teresa Robson of Tallahassee and Tamara Cahee of Jacksonville; a son, Christopher Cahee of Jacksonville; a brother, Philip Cahee of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Shirely Gomo of Randolph, VT; two grandmothers, Ruth Corliss of Springfield and Julia Robinson of Vernon, VT; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
