It is reported that on September 29 or 30, 2022 classmate Carol Colby passed away at her home in Zolfo Springs, Florida. At this moment, the date is unclear as information provided is that a neighbor found Carol in her home deceased. Carol's remains were cremated, and given to a family member.

Carol and I had stayed in contact since graduation and visited together at her home in FL, ours in AR and in between.
I spoke with Carol shortly before Ian made landfall encouraging her to consider a visit with us or at least leave Zolfo Spgs. Carol felt that the storm would pass by Brookside, the park where she lived.
Shall miss cheery chats with her. Sadly, Susan
