Sandra Jane Woodward, 78, passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 in Springfield, Vt. She was born March 5, 1942 in Springfield, Vermont, the daughter of Clifford and Pearl (Biathrow) Woodward. Sandy graduated from Springfield High School with the class of 1960. Following graduation, she attended New England School of Hair Design in Claremont where she would later become a teacher. Later in life, she attained her CNA and was employed at Sullivan County Nursing Home. Her other employers included Wal-Mart, Big Lots and Running Bear Camping Area. She is predeceased by her brother, Clifford Woodward, She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis "Buffy" Girard and son-in-law Ross Girard; six grandchildren and their significant others: Heather Girard and Cameron Williams, Nick Thomas and Julia Phifer, Josh Haines and Melissa Bailey, Zack and Erica Thomas, Mark and Amanda Girard, Chris Thomas and Ciara Sablock; and six great-grandchildren: Nyome Athorne, Elliana Girard, Bailey Athorne, Cora Haines, Gavyne Girard and Oliver Haines.
