Kenneth Edwin Milne
PATCHOGUE, LONG ISLAND, NY — Kenneth Edwin Milne, 68, of Cedar Grove, Fla., died Jan. 7, 2005, at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
Born March 23, 1936, in Barre, he was the son of Arthur and Laura (Thomas) Milne. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1957 following a three-year enlistment with the United States Marine Corps, from 1953 to 1956. While in the Marines, he was stationed at Camp LeJeune in N.C. and the Marine Barracks in Washington D.C. with the Marine Honor Guard for President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
He was married to Ginette LaChance and they later divorced.
Kenneth was an automotive salesman and sales manager for several dealerships in the Mid-Long Island area.
His special interests were golfing and fishing. He was a master mason.
Survivors include his daughter, Michele LaFlin and her husband, James, of Belvidere; his son Shawn Milne and his wife, Jill, of Mill Valley, Calif.; four grandchildren, James, Ryan, Jessica and Caitlin LaFlin; a sister Angelina Newell and her husband, David, of Delmar, N.Y.; two brothers, Robert Milne and his wife, Lois, of Barre, and Thomas Milne of Randolph; nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mildred Bignell, predeceased him.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center. There are no calling hours.

The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre, is in charge of the arrangements.
