ALBURGH, VT - Linwood S. "Tink" West passed away at home on Aug. 2, 2017. He was born April 16, 1943, in Rutland, VT, the son of Raeburn West and Virginia (Manley) West Stevans.

He graduated from Springfield High School in 1961 and was in the Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

He leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Linda S. West;, his two children from his first marriage, Robert West and his wife, Naomi, and Steven West, both of Rutland, VT. He also leaves four stepchildren, Howard Beaupre Jr. and his wife, Melissa, Daniel Beaupre, Christopher Beaupre and his wife, Lynn, and a stepdaughter, Irene Ora McCleening and her husband, Christopher; a brother, Paul West, from South Carolina; also 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be no services; he donated his body to UVM Medical School.
