ESSEX JUNCTION - Jane Helena Wilder, 55, died Monday, July 12, 1999. 

She was born May 17, 1944, in Springfield, daughter of Anthony J. and Helen R. (Masten) Michniewich. 

She was a graduate of Springfield High School and received her bachelors degree from the University of Vermont. 

Mrs. Wilder was active in St. Lawrence Parish and was also a member of the Curisillo. She enjoyed playing bridge and did volunteer work with many Burlington area organizations.

Survivors two daughters, Cheryl Devault of Stamford, Conn., and Wendy Stein of St. Johnsbury; her parents of Chelmsford, Mass.; a brother, James Michniewich of Chelmsford; a sister, Joyce Cunningham of Rutland; and several nieces' and nephews. 

The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery. 

Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ready Funeral Home, Mountainview Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Drive, Essex Junction.
