SPRINGFIELD - Sandra C. Laflamme, 61, of Merrill Street, died Saturday evening, Aug. 20, 2005, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., following a lengthy illness. 

She was born March 22, 1944, in Bartonsville, Vt., the daughter of Stanley and Dorothy (Morris) Wilson. She attended Springfield schools and graduated from Springfield High School in 1962. 

On July 21, 1962, she married Edward P. Laflamme in Springfield. She had been a lifelong resident of the area and was employed at NewsBank in Chester for more than 20 years as a data conversion clerk. She had been very supportive of her husband's involvement with the Shriners and was a member of the Lady Shriners. Her hobbies included reading, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Survivors include her husband, Edward of Springfield; a daughter, Kim Dishman of Bakersfield, Calif.; a son, Edward L. Laflamme and his wife Penny of Springfield; three stepdaughters, Tammy Harris and Debbie Loftin, both of West Lake, La., and Lynn Sevrien of DeRidder, La.; three grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew and Brendan; four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; a sister, Luana Wilson-Reynolds of Claremont, N.H.; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, in the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield. Pastor Harold Stanfill of the Precision Valley Baptist Church will officiate. 

Friends may call at the Davis Chapel on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Clinic at Springfield Hospital, 25 Ridgewood Road, Springfield, VT 05156.
