Richard Seay (Stahl)

Died suddenly on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at his home in Salisbury. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Millard C. Seay, and his sister Sandy. He is survived by a loving wife of 11 years, Jennifer Unsell Seay; his mother, Margaret, and sister, Pamela, both of Springfield, Va.; a brother, Millard "Butch" and his wife Kathy, of Hull, GA; two nephews and two nieces near and dear to his heart, Jessica of Arlington, VA and John of Tallahassee, FL, and Grayson and Ainslie Schaefer of Elburn, IL; three aunts, Louise Jamison and Helen Ray of Haymarket, VA and Ann Park of Palmyra, VA; and many other family members. Rick was a history teacher for 16 years at Wicomico High School in Salisbury, and taught courses in geography, world history, U.S. history and his passion, A.P. European history. During his tenure, he coached women''s basketball and field hockey, and men''s and women''s tennis. Prior to that, he was employed at Poseurs Nightclub and the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. He was honored with a Memorial Service at Wicomico High School auditorium on Sunday, January 17, 2010.
