Rebecca Lynn Toebben, 18, of St. Charles, died Saturday (Feb. 9, 2002) at her residence.

Ms. Toebben graduated from Francis Howell North High School last June. She received the Knights of Columbus Excellence Award, which was presented to her at graduation.

No visitation was planned. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Community of Christ Church, 2790 Highway K, O'Fallon. The body will be cremated. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Stewartsville, Mo.

Among survivors are her mother and stepfather, Sharon and Brian Abbott of St. Charles; her father, Roger Toebben of Atlanta; a brother, Stephen Toebben of St. Charles; a stepbrother, Christopher Abbott of St. Charles; a stepsister, Anna Abbott of Atlanta; grandparents, Kenneth and Joyce Swails of Kearney, Mo.; and grandfather, Stan Toebben of Jefferson City.
