Kenneth Conlon passed away on November 10, 2016 at Medilodge in Sterling Heights, at the age of 63. He was born on September 12, 1953, at Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe; son of Charles and Yvonne (nee VanHollebeke) Conlon. Ken graduated from Grosse Pointe North in 1971. He had many interests and hobbies throughout his life. He loved baseball and used to bowl in leagues. He played the lotto and was fairly successful playing scratch off tickets. Ken retired from the Lionel Train Co. as a draftsman. He amassed an incredible collection of model trains over his lifetime. Ken will be missed by his family and friends. Mr. Conlon was predeceased by his father Charles. He is survived by his loving mother Yvonne. He was proud of and adored his daughters Lisa and Kristy. He leaves behind his siblings Chuck Jr. (Carol) Conlon, Sharon Marshall (Bill), Lori Mangiapane (Dion), and Debbie Borthwick (Paul). He is survived by his nieces and nephews Chip, Craig, Lindsay, Gabrielle, Brad, and Kayla. Great-uncle of Olivia. Ken's family will receive guests on Monday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Prayers will be followed by family comments and a bagpipe tribute at 7:00 pm.
