John Spath
1978-1998

In the spring of 1992, the St. Joan Chargers Baseball team beat Our Lady of SOrrows to claim the CYO City Championship; Johnny Spath was on the mound!

Johnny was a strong athlete, an honor student and a leader in his Class at St. Joan. Johnny made his first communion and was Confirmed at St. Joan of Arc Church. After graduating from St. Joan, with his father John and brother Michael, he coached the SJA baseball team. The youngest brother Jimmy played on the team.

Honor student, athlete, coach; Johnny exemplified the Charger Spirit. He was competitive, fun, intelligent, generous and courageous.
