Patti Van Daele, 50, of St. Clair Shores, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, in Grosse Pointe. She was born June 15, 1954, in Grosse Pointe Farms.
Mrs. Van Daele, a homemaker, was a lunch and playground monitor at St. Joan of Arc School in St. Clair Shores. She was an avid St. Clair Shores hockey mom and Turning Point Dance Studio mom. Relatives said her life was her husband and children.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R.; children, Erin and Sean; siblings, Cheri Kendall, Barbara (Carl) Marlinga, Donald Nicholson, Donna Nicholson and James (Cindy) Nicholson; mother-in-law, Rose Mary Stapleton; brother-in-law, James Kendall; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Jerry and Dolores Nicholson; and father-in-law, Robert Van Daele.
