I remember Sr. Mary Ward riding the roller coaster at Edgewater Park at the 1960 8th grade graduation picnic. She was fearless - hands in the air, veil flying behind her. She knew how to enjoy herself! I'm sure she still is.
I lived on Edmunton right behind the convent..what fond memories of the sisters...especially wearing all the garments and being a voyeur during the touch football games!
I actuallly sat between her and Sister Arlene on the roller coaster ar edgewater park, thinking I would be safer that way. She was a great teacher. She was fun too!
