Age 7. May 20, 2005. During a five and a half year battle with leukemia, Jacob exhibited courage and strength that was an inspiration to his family and friends. He touched hundreds. Loving son of Eric and Michelle (nee Abood). Dear brother of Nathan and Hannah. Loving grandson of Dennis and Sharon Abood, Lee and Judith Davis. Loving great-grandson of Flora Mathews. Dear godson of Joanne Truza and Nicholas Russo. Dear nephew of Joanne (Nick) Turza, Jennifer (Michael) Cummings and Natalie (Dan) Covell. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jacob was an excellent kid. He would have graduated with us, the Class of 2012 if the leukemia that he was diagnosed with just before he turned 2 years old hadn't taken the tremendous life he had. Jacob, like so many other 8 year old kids, love the card game "Pokemon." Our class will remember him forever, and we will always think of him as if he really did graduate with us.
