Randall "Randy" James Hipple, age 55 of Sterling Heights, went peacefully with his family by his side on October 8, 2015. He was born in Detroit on July 6, 1960; the son of Francis "Jim" and Bernadette (Nee Kameg) Hipple.

Randy attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in St. Clair Shores before graduating from Notre Dame High School in Harper Woods. He briefly attended classes at Macomb Community College before growing his own landscaping business, Hipple's Lawn Care, from the age of 18.

Randy was a workaholic who in his free time liked to watch sports, read the news and play cards with friends while enjoying Budweiser. His ultimate pride and joy was his family; especially his grandson, Trey.

He will be remembered as a genial and down-to-earth guy who had never met a stranger. He could strike up a conversation with anyone. His helpful, selfless and jovial nature was endearing to all who knew him.

Randy is dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Beloved husband of Theresa for 15 years. Loving father of Kiel and Erika (the late Marcus Bawol). Caring step-father of Kayla Bonkowski and the late Brandon Bonkowski. Adoring Papa of William "Trey" Settle III. Brother of Gregg (Diana) and Kirk. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
