BALES ALWYNNE REESE Age 71, of Grand Rapids and formerly of Northville, Michigan, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 11, 2013 after an 18 year fight with cancer. She returned to God's glory at her home with family members by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Louise Reese of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Surviving are her husband of 47 years John A. Bales; her children Shawn Marie (Douglas A.) Doyle, John Anthony (Susila R.) Bales, Amy Suzanne (Robert B.) Lathrop; and sister Sandra Schulz; and brothers Anthony (Debra) and Leonard (Denise) Reese. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
