I remember Mike. He was a nice kid and a good friend. I think he died when we were in 4th grade, which would have been 1968. He got kicked in the head playing football and a blood clot went to his brain if I remember correctly.
You are correct. I lived across the street and mike was playing baseball with a group of friends and got hit in the head with the ball. He walked home and told his mom who was a nurse he was dizzy and felt sick to his stomach, they rushed him to the hospital but at that time there was nothing they could do. Nice family.
