LEBEAU, JOHN EDWARD Ann Arbor, Michigan
John Edward LeBeau, 67, passed away following a dignified, courageous, yet brief battle with brain cancer. He was born September 9, 1946 to Charles and Mary LeBeau in Detroit, MI. Following high school, John served in the U.S. Army. John had a passion for boating and being on the water; so much so that he married Kathleen at Belle Maer Marina in Clinton Township on August 18, 1996. John worked for Wolverine Supply for over 30 years, retiring in 2010. John will be remembered most for his "funny guy" approach to life - he wanted to be known for making people laugh. John is survived by his wife, Kathy (Darr); daughters, Christie LeBeau of Las Vegas, NV and Elizabeth LeBeau; step-children, Kimberly (Cooper) Leppert, Wendy (Scott) Schrader, and Dana Harden; special step-grandchildren, April Smith, Nick and Alex Spears, Kelsey Leppert, and Savannah Stornes; sister, Mary LeBeau; brother, Paul LeBeau of La Jolla, CA. John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert LeBeau.
