What's New!

The Alumni Building

Our vision is to construct a state-of-the-art Audiovisual Laboratory that will facilitate education, training, and creativity at STETHS. This modern facility will house four cutting-edge audiovisual recording studios, radio and STETHS TV studios, two media studies classrooms, and a mini-theater dedicated to the creative and performing arts. It will not only empower students to explore the fields of media, communications, and the arts, but it will also enhance the technical skills of employees, practitioners, and the wider community of western Jamaica and beyond.

In addition to its educational purpose, this building will also host the STETHS Alumni Office, strengthening the operational bond between the school and its devoted alumni. This is our chance to invest in something truly special—something that will serve as a beacon for progress, innovation, and collaboration.

Project Scope and Funding

The construction of this 4,585-square-foot facility is estimated to cost US $400,000 (J$60,000,000), with an additional J$15,000,000 required for equipment and furniture. Our funding goal is US $500,000 (J$75,000,000).

We know this is an ambitious target, but we believe that we can make this dream a reality through the collective generosity of our donors, alumni, well-wishers, and friends of STETHS. No matter how small, every contribution will bring us closer to creating this hub for education, creativity, and innovation. Your support will help shape the future of countless students and professionals who will benefit from this facility.

Together, we can leave a legacy that future generations will be proud of. We can build not just a building, but a brighter future for STETHS and Jamaica.

Thank you for your generosity, your commitment, and your belief in the power of education and the arts to transform lives.
