My aunt is married to one of Mark's cousin. So I know the family VERY well and you would think that someone would have mentioned it to me at some point, despite the fact that I migrated to Canada in 2001.

I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that Mark is gone. I just found out last week...on the family website "Genie" after which I frantically contacted my cousin to find out what happened. I can still see Mark always being happy and funny at the same time. He had a heart of gold and I am sure he is greatly missed.

My heart goes out to his wife, children, parents, brothers, sisters, numerous cousins and countless friends........RIP Mark, I will always remember you.

Mark was such a funny and awesome guy. I saw him several times when I return home on vacation during the 1990’s and boy he did not change. I did not know of his illness and death until two weeks after his funeral. I was very saddened. RIP Greenie and to his family and friends, continue to hold the faith.

Mark and i grow up together from Bacic school as they use to say, right through high school. We were best friends. He would rush on Cappo bus in the evenings and save my seat, i could always take my time and not have to run to the bus. He has truely left a void in my heart, gone too soon, ever laughing, such a pleasure to have known him. To his dear wife, children, and rest of the family, keep the faith, gone but not forgotton.RIP
Much love,Ardette

Mark was a good guy, his puss eyes as we would say in jamaica still stands out in my mind, he was a very jovial person. He was one of the boys who had a rough time with those senior boys when they were ragging at school, he was given a broom to dance with. Mark you are gone too soon but your fund memories still lives on.

Mark and I grew up in the same community, went to the same Basic, Primary and High School. So you see we have spent most of our young lives together. I had gone home for the w/end (St. Elizabeth) and was desperately trying to pull the nut from my car which had punctured. Could i get it pull, hell nooooooo! then who came along, Mark. Thats how i found out that he was ill, and he did say he was actually getting better as he had just came back from Cuba where he had received excellent treatment. Well, Mark pull my "nut" for me. We exchanged pleasantries, and he left. Man! i got the shock of my life when about 2-3 weeks after i learnt of Mark's death.

I will never question God, but take comfort in these words "Lord we cannot for thy purpose see, but all is well that's done by Thee"

Rest In Peace Mark.
