"Mackie" was one of the greatest teachers to go through Steths. As a friend and associate, you would never tire of being in his company. Irrespective of how sad you were, Mackie could cheer you up. He had a "spirit" second to none. Continue to rest in peace old chap. You are greatly missed.

This teacher made me who I am today. He always had a way to communicate to students and his communication reached me to change my ways about life. The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth."

Mr McDonald had little control over school policy, choice of teachers for St. Elizabeth Technical High School, placement of students, but most have a great deal of autonomy inside the classroom.  To a degree shared by only a few other occupations, such as police work, public education rests precariously on the skill.

Forever miss you Mr McDonald.

Mr Mcdonald taught me Engineering science & Mechanical technology up to the day before his tragic accident. I remember his brilliance, his command in the machine shop, and his personality. Mr Mcdonald was the teacher who had all the answers and used methods that reached every single student in his class. His command cannot be compared, because when Mr Mack say "turn off the machines and clean up" every man move instantly, i cant remember him saying that twice. Even though Mr Mack commanded so much respect from his students he always find the time every now and then to crack a few jokes after work.

Rest in peace Macky, your memories live on.

I remember having Mr McDonald as my Religious Ed teacher.  Very nice gentleman.  It would be nice if all the school in todays society have Religous Ed incorporated in their curriculum.
